One of my most beloved childhood memories is going to Disneyland. My parents looked forward to taking us all year, and they made it an annual ritual for us kids. Not bad for the price.

Why I bought this I don’t know, being a 38 yr old man, but hey why not.

OK about the watch, first off the face is much shinier than the picture shows, more of a metallic, silvery look. The band is somewhat small, only fits my wrist at about last two buckle holes, and I don’t see it holding out too long, we’ll see what happens.
For the first day of wearing it I did not even notice that you had to take the little plastic piece from under, what is called the crown, now I know, in order for it to start ticking. Since then It has kept perfect time.
The face of the watch is somewhat big, so If your looking to get it noticed, you will.
All in all, not too bad for the price, I have seen some cheep ones that cost a lot more. And it is official Disney, the tin case and all.
Been thinking about a Mickey watch and need to be sparing with the cash? I do recommend this watch for the young, and the young at heart.

Great stocking stuffer

MY 19 year old son was lamenting that he had lost this original Mickey Mouse watch from when he was a kid. “Like you would still wear it”, I said, to which he replied, “I would”, so… I have ordered this as a stocking stuffer this year. I looked around a bit and most of them just have Mickey posing and hour and minute hands are needle style. This however has Mickey’s hands pointing out the time just like his old one. I can’t wait to see his face when he opens it Christmas am. He is also getting an aviator style watch as he is in flight school. We’ll see which he wears more. I may re-post with his reaction, but I love it.

Not even worth the low price

Admittedly, I didn’t expect much for the price, but since I have a lot of cheap to mid-priced watches but never had a Mickey Mouse watch in the lot,I bought this one on impulse. I have to say that I’ve received free watches with the purchase of a calculator that have been better than this one. Simply put, the crown does not stay in, so the watch stops easily with normal wrist movement. The band is rather flimsy. So, as long as you don’t plan on wearing this watch, it looks great. But if you expect it to actually keep time while it’s being worn, you may want to look elsewhere.
